-Highly proficient in alternative firing methods; raku, smoke firing, pit-firing

-Highly proficient in mixing and managing glazes/glaze materials in a ceramics studio

-Proficient in gas and wood firing methods and running kilns

-Experience in building anagama style wood kiln(s)

-Experience in MIG and oxy-acetylene welding methods

-Experience with using glass in ceramic works/molds/kilns

-Experience in plaster mold making, both with slip casting ceramic methods and sculptural methods

-Experience in basic woodworking skills, and basic woodshop tools

-Familiar with the following materials and their process; bronze casting, paper-making, plaster works, clay, installation art, outdoor art, mural arts, and stop-animation works
